My Mk3.5 Focus Titanium X The 2ish Month Review...

Evening lads and ladies, well I've had the new motor for 2 months and abit now thought I'd let you know my findings so far...

I have the 2015 Focus Titanium X 1.0T ecoboost 125

MPG

I have left all the main info dials since it started its life with me and with going quick up to the speed limit then being eco friendly I find myself not getting below 39 mpg that's with half A road and half dual carriage way with 4400 miles on the clock.

I'm finding that I can be more economical without using the cruise control if the instant mpg is anything to go by...

DAY TO DAY

I'm finding that the focus is quite small in the leg room department with a struggle to fit 4 normal sized humans in without having to move everything around and knees start touching the dash etc... My friend has a new Leon and the cars pretty much the same size yet it is quite a bit more spacious which is a little odd...

I definitely recommend getting a screen protector for the touchscreen as it dramatically reduces the fingerprint marks, they are not cheap but worth it... I think mine was about £12.

I also found that anything you put in the door holders vibrates like a bugger when the sub is active... This I find quite annoying but I don't know what to put in there to stop it lol what is that holder in the door called or is there some funky material that people are using...?

GADGETS

I'm loving all the gadgets you get with the titanium models I've had a few chances to have a go with most of it...

Lane Assistance - not massively sure when you would need this unless you were really tired or drunk because you just stop but the idea is great... Basically you have a line both sides of your car on the display in the dash and they go green it knows where both edges are then if you wander near either line it will steer you back into the lane and vibrate the steering wheel to wake you up I'm guessing, this works pretty much every time I've tried it in controlled conditions.

Reversing system (BLIS) - this has been the most handy of all the gadgets as when you find yourself in a tesco parking spot nose in because the other half doesn't like the auto parking lol you try and reverse out but you have a van either side of you so basically you can see jack all... Well now instead of having the person on the back seat look for you, now when Reversing it beeps when it sees a car or pedestrian coming from either way and if your looking at your dash it tells you which way. I also find the camera very good quality day and night with the guidance lanes changing as you turn...
