How To Turn Off Airbag

Featured Replies

I have a 2010 kea and would like to disable to passenger side air bag as I need to put a child seat in the front.

I am guessing the only way is to pull a fuse but I could be wrong.

Can be done, cant remember how, will check and update later

Found out, ford can use there diagnostics to enable the airbag disable feature, then you can switch it on and off as required via the menu buttons on instrument cluster.

Hi All,

Did this work Jennifer? My wife has a 2013 KA and the menu doesn't show the airbag "on/off" and my local ford are telling they don't think it can be done! - Not happy - had the car 13 days. Thanks in advance, Tommy
