Can Anyone Helo With Relay Problem?

Featured Replies

He's already said the headlamp worked fine when plugged in other side ergo the bulb works

Hi

In the past when only one headlight was working on my cars the fault has nearly always been a bad earth next to the faulty headlight.

Although there can be 12 volt at the light the earth wire can be corroded in the wires or connection to the body.

!2 volts and low amps will work a small bulb but on a large bulb it needs the amps for it to work, it just sounds like a bad connection probably corroded.

What I would do

Take a good earth to the bulb and see if it works. If not take a good fused power supply to the bulb, you will then know which circuit the fault is on. I have also had bad connections on the bulb.

Be careful not to short out any wires or you may damage the electronics, then you are talking money
