Daughters KA running warm and losing water from expansion tank before fan kicks in. Fan working ok as starts when aircon is switched on. Top and bottom hoses warm and heaters blowing hot. I'm suspecting a faulty temp sensor but could it be something else.

    Thermostat housing has a tendency to warp if it is the plastic type and starts leaking. Also expansion tank cap can lose pressure and the expansion tanks sometimes split.
