the work I carried out for mot was replaced rear shock absorber fixed faulty earth in near side headlight

new flexi pipe for the exhaust .

I have tried jump starting the car from another I still get nothing checked all the fuses and swapped around some relays.

put live straight to starter it turns normally but fuel pump does not come on

its like no power is going anywhere

Sounds like user error - if it was working before you fiddled with it then you may have caused the issue yourself - not uncommon i've done it myself - did you find the issue?

Relay swapping?

Not a good idea!

Why not just test the relays with a mutimeter or just plug two 12v sources and listen for the relay click if you dont have test equipment!¬

have you sorted it yet ?

yes I sorted it even though the fuses tested ok with a multimeter the ecc fuse had a bad connection

just pulled it out and replaced it and everything working again.

cheers

happy motoring !!
