Sportka Heating

Featured Replies

I've just bought a sportka for a little run around and I've notice that the heater knob doesn't change the temperature. The knob seems to have come away previously as I can see a few chip marks where the previous owner has looked at it, is this an easy fix..I.e a new knob or is it something else. I messed about with my it once and managed to get it blow hot but maybe it was a 1off. Want to get it fixed before it starts getting too cold in the morning. Thanks in advance

Bump - can anyone help me out with this? :)

The usual suspect is the Heater Control Valve. These get stuck and are a common issue on KA's Pumas and Fiestas. They are around £40 and take 20 minutes to 30 minutes to fit.
