somebody please help me before i torch my ka,

i have a 2005 ford ka, all the front suspension has been replaced (skocks, springs, wishbones, drop links, top mounts, new discs and pads, wheel bearings are ok, no play in them at all) the problem is when you pull away you get a loud creaking from passenger side front corner, and when you change gear i get a bit then, and under breaking it creaks, had shock out again applied some lithium grease to spring and around top mount, but this has made no difference. just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, do i need to replace the engine mounts on left and rear of engine, the creaking drives me nuts get none at all when just pootling a long unless i go over a big bump or sometimes on speed bumps.

its a great little runabout and suits me for getting to work and back, had car 3 years and had no problems with it, done all suspension my self so only cost me parts which were'nt expensive.

i have every intention of giving it to daughter when she passes her test so gradually doing all the little jobs myself.

Could be engine or gearbox mounts but it would be odd if that was the case. It's not seized brakes is it?

I had a similar problem with my Streetka - turned out to be "Offside

Rear Trailing Arm Rubber Bush Deteriorated But Not Resulting In Excessive
Movement" straight from the MOT pass!

Replaced the bush and it sorted the problem!

It will probably be a rubber bush somewhere in the front suspension!

re check all nuts and bolts are done up properly especiall the driveshaft nuts. i wolud say it was Rear Trailing Arm Rubber Bush. if they are going

it makes a clunk sound usually. if your thinking of replacing them then give the a good spray of wd40 / penetrating fluid a week before doing them

to allow it all the work in. i would give the whould rubbers a general spray of wd40 on the front end of the car as it maybe something simple
