Battery Drain Ka 2001

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a 85ma drain on my battey. Have pulled all fuses in the internal fusebox and no change. There are 3 fuses on the battery, couldnt work out how they are removed so have removed via the bolts that connect the 3 wires to the positive. It turns out that the middle of the 3 leads is the culprit. Havent got a wiring diagram but assume one is to the starter one is to the alternator and the other to the internal fuse box? Anyone know where the middle one goes to?

Edit there are another 2 wires off the battery post that are unfused so guess they are for starter or alternator. The three large cross section wires seem to head off towards the grommet on the bulkhead and into the car but not confirmed as yet with a meter.

Can someone on here check what Ma there KA draws after 1 minute, there appears to be a higher draw for a short period as the system settles.
