Ford Ka Power Steering Problem

Fitted a new rack earlier this year due to excessive play in the steering (ball joints, track rods all checked first). Folled the instructions to the word, once fitted I bled the system by turning the wheel lock to lock about 6 times, all fine no air in the system.

Rack has been on the car about 6 months now and the steering feels fine. However when I was putting on the spare wheel the other day I turned the wheel and with the engine off I could hear air trapped in the rack. Can't find any leaks. Anyone else experienced this? The car is a 2003 streetka.
