Sudden Loss Of Power

Featured Replies

The best ones come off the old mechanical injected Peugeots, new cheap primers seem to be pretty poor. I'll have a look at the scrappy for one when I'm next there I think!

Why pay the money to the mechanic ??

I had to make my inline fuel pump, the one I brought had 10.5-11mm connectors so needed to get 2 new male an female ones to take it to 10mm, then extended the tubes to a more reasonable length, an finally added my own none return valve as the internal one is crap and only works pointing upwards.

that's what it looked like before I fixed it, I have a feeling these are all Chinese knock offs

priming the filter is easy as long as you don't get air in he fuel pump line, do that an it can work for a while then get air locked. before I got the hand pump I successfully used a funnel to top up that line then reconnect it.
