I would do a youtube video but no idea how to post it? The misfire seems worse at idle very lumpy/chuggy like running on 3 cylinders it does stall sometimes and quite hesitent and kangarooie upto 30ish but seems to get better above 30 mph hardly noticeable seems to have Plenty of go in it.

If you record your video and then post a link on here, it would be interesting to hear how the engine runs,

I know a video is not a be all and end all but still it would be interesting for us to hear

Jamie

P.s Kangarooing used to be used to refer to Kangaroo Fuel, Hmmm thinking cap where did you go.

Just another update bought a new coil pack from ford ignition leads and plugs it's improved a bit but still lumpy on idle and hesitent on acceleration it seems fine when you reach 30 mph also we have noticed that no4 plug when removed is wet with petrol had a spark tester on the ht lead a very good spark also a good spark from the plug but it seems to be over fueling on no4 and not able to spark could this be the start of something expensive

The NGK plugs could also be an issue

Not on the Zetec SE engine. NGK was the plug of choice on these....no question.

That's what I've got in which are best for the 1.4 engine

Hi ok found its an injector problem with no4 cylinder you can unplug it no change to engine revs but do it for other 3 and engine nearly dies. The problem we have is we bought an injector rail from a known good running car that's been smashed up. So fitted it started car and it ran and revved perfect. So took it for a run up the road and then it went back to how it was before. So why is it killing injectors or could it be something else causing problem. Thanks

Next step would be to check the wiring to the #4 injector.
