Hi guys and gals,

Im looking for some advice on how to open up a Ka speedo unit. I don't want to tamper with the clocks, all I want to do is remove the green light filter to replace with a blue LED dash bulb.

Any of you guys ever done this?

    I would leave it alone - i have seen some really bad wiring problems caused trying to open up dashboard facias.

    The Lotus garage opened up my Lotus and ruined the entire facia and its still warped and thats supposed to be a pro garage.

    My friend opened up his Ka and ended up damaging the wiring and eventually had to take it to a garage electrician to find the fault.

    If you are going to do it for goodness sake take a picture of all the wires and remove the battery most essential in case you blow summat like my pal Dave did with his.
