Paint Damage

Featured Replies

Hi,

So I need some help. Basically someone was getting out of my car and smashed my door into a brick wall and although the door is not dented the paint has been very badly scratched. I was wondering if anyone knows any way of fixing this as it doesn't look very appealing at all so yeah. This is also my first car so I'm quite new to all of this.

Difficult without seeing the damage.

If it's light scratches they may polish out but, if they deep enough to feel then probably needs spraying, take it to a bodyshop for a quote.

Yeah they are pretty deep, any ideas on prices for a respray?

No idea, depends on how much needs doing, best place to go is a bodyshop.

Okay thanks for the help :)

Is it down the metal? Or just badly damaged the clearcoat?

Its down to the metal

Probably going to be £100+ depending on how much needs doing. Is it just the edge? If so will some touch up work as it won't be too visible

its a body shop job if you start touch it up it will look a pigs ear so its better to go to the pros first and get a top job done
