Right lads

Im gonna use a sealant on my car so i need to remove the old wax of it first? Obz im gonna wash before hand but as sealant bonds to paint does every bit of wax need to be gone??

Silly but if i had a finger print and put sealant over it would it seal in the print??

What sealant??

Use panel wipe to remove the old wax.

Finger print won't remain under the sealant. Even ceramic coatings remove it during application.

I aint using the polish just going to wash and dry then add the gloss , car only 6 months old paintwork is smooth so no point polishing

If the car is 6 months old then use a decent sealant instead ;)

Just not sure if u can put sealant on paintwork that has traces of wax on ifnit needs to be spotless i have googled but hard to find info

As I said above, Use panel wipe before application.
