Ford_Man
Is the synposer or however it is spelt adjustable ? Also should i drive it carefully for 1000 miles Jamie No I haven't found it to be adjustable :( I drove mine slightly lighter than usual for about 850 miles
alexp999
For at least the first 100 miles the brakes aren't great while they bed in. You also need to take it easy on the clutch in that time.Mine has taken about 300 miles for the gear changes to get smooth.I didn't give mine any beans for the first 250 miles. Always short shifting and not going beyond 12 o'clock on the rpm gauge.I have given mine a couple of bursts up to 5.5-6k (so 4-4.5k on diesel) now but only by holding 2nd on NSL roads. Well spaced out, so generally still not driving it hard.

Stoney871
As an aside, the Mk3.5 ST has a virtual symposer (engine sound is played through the speakers) rather than the physical one fitted to the Mk3 ST that piped the sound to a resonator box attached to the firewall. The position where the symposer was piped from on the Mk3 is blanked off in the Mk3.5. TBH, most people in the know didn't like the symposer on the Mk3 anyway and fitted metal blanking plates/removed the symposer hose and resonator.
james_60
So could i install the mk3 symposer heheheheheh :-)
Stoney871
Possibly but I think the mounting points for the resonator have been deleted from the firewall.
alexp999
There won't be anywhere to connect it on the diesel intake.
