Central Locking Issue

Hi, I am looking for advice on how to diagnose a central locking issue... So far I have checked the battery and tried to reprogram the key - no success. The immobiliser light flashes all the time - is this connected? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    if the red light is flashing all the time it means the immobilizer is active. from memory you will need a master key along with your remote key to re program the remote key
