It depends how big the change is.

Colour is ok, some options may be considered major though.

I took over a stock order for a Titanium Auto, so being a massive spec change it lost its build slot and then it was like the order was only just put in at the time.

It's a fact ask any dealership & I've worked in Vehicle Man and PT, with exceptions if you change prior week to segmentation will be rescheduled and bottom of the pile.

Parts will not be onsite for build, negligible options like colours and priv glass will pass.

Appearance packs, heated steering wheels and so on, (sub assembly)

items will delay orders.

That's very interesting, I was under the impression that auto gearboxes are generally marginally slower than the manual equivalent. So perhaps there has been some tweaking going on there somewhere....

Got an update on my order this week, looks like it's due to the dealer last week of January, slightly earlier than expected! Cant wait!!

I've got access to ETIS now, can anyone make sense of when the build date is?

Etis will only get the correct build date when it is built.

It will then move about a bit until it is gate released which is the date that etis sticks with.

Only the dealer can track the order and give you estimated dates.
