Juicehead99
Going to take rear seats and parcel shelf out this week coming. I've got 6x9s wired up to standard Speakers in the parcel shelf, Where can I put the 6x9s when all that's gone? Any suggestions please? GingerFlame
Parcel shelf Speakers? I thought those days were well behind us... Why not sort out the door Speakers and forget about the stuff in the boot/what was parcelshelf?

GingerFlame
Takes 10 minutes to remove each door card. 2 minutes to unscrew the Speakers, 2 seconds to unplug, then Crimp connectors onto the new Speakers and you're away. If you go for low power (you don't need high power for high quality) then you'll be able to power it from the headunit and use the original wiring www.yorkshiredetailing.co.uk - approved resellers of the Highest quality detailing & Valeting supplies
Juicehead99
In front you mean? My 6x9s won't fit will they as they are bigger
GingerFlame
As I said above, sell the 6x9 and buy some that fit www.yorkshiredetailing.co.uk - approved resellers of the Highest quality detailing & Valeting supplies
Juicehead99
Na am not selling then buying. Al make this fit where rears are if I have to and remove those standards. At moment both rears and 6x9s are wired and working
GingerFlame
By adding more and more Speakers from different brands youre going to start having phasing issues www.yorkshiredetailing.co.uk - approved resellers of the Highest quality detailing & Valeting supplies

tazzman600
Keep your 6x9"s but try putting v them in a box (you can buy them cheap online) and put undefined the front seats. It's cheap but very cheerful and I think that's what you're after.

tazzman600
What? Running rear speaker cable from where it goes into the wing/door a load of effort? It's as simple as simple can be. I'm suprised in you GF (considering your excellent build in your car)

I'm suprised in you GF (considering your excellent build in your car)No.. I have 4 RCA cables, a power cable, signal cable, Earth speaker cables, plugs/connectors & the amp itself. It takes up passenger legroom so bare that in mind. Also, running the cabling neatly takes more effort than you would think do the to way the carpet is fitted www.yorkshiredetailing.co.uk - approved resellers of the Highest quality detailing & Valeting supplies
WES180
Cant you just cut them into your rear side quarter panels or even knock up some side panels on the boot sides seeing as you wont have a rear seat or shelf in?
Juicehead99
Just took rear seats out. Dark now so will carry on tomorrow and take side panel right off and take standard speaker out and cut brace to make 6x9s fit to hold it
