Can anyone specifially tell me where the main central locking unit is on a mk6, i heard it was near the fuse box but i cant see it haha the car definitely has central locking

    My estate had central locking but not a central locking unit, I took the door card off and followed the wiring in to the car and joined the wires in the drivers side kick panel

    Haha cheers mate ! Been searching for days ! The unit has power and earth, activates the indicators just havnt figured the lock/unlock situation lol

    If u take ur door card off ur will see two wires that go to the door motor follow them back in to the car and connect the wires

    2 i see 4 going to a black plug, 2 to the motor, the 2 on the motor ate different colours to the ones in the plug ?

    I bet, ive had the kit 2 weeks lol and so many sites say different things, what really got me was trying to find the CL unit which just isnt there lol, i even tried wiring strait into the loom in the drivers door haha
