Mk2.5 Focus Oval Stereos - Aftermarket Ones?

Featured Replies

Apart from the OE Ford/Sony standard ones, do any of the proper aftermarket brands (Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine etc) make them with oval fascia?

There's a few oval ones on ebay and online sites from Chinese brands I've never come across before Maxtrons, Xtrons, Eonon, A-Sure etc.

They all seem to copies of each other and I'm not sure about personally importing them. I've imported personal items from USA and Australia before now, but they weren't the sort of thing that could fail, or turn out to faulty

What if there's a warranty issue and they need to be sent back? Are there any UK based dealers of these brands?

would be nice if they do them in the uk as i would love to change mine hate the one that's in it

great stuff i will give this a view thanks for the find :)

The only brand I'm aware of is Zenec (ACR store brand):

They do have some UK stores:

Excellent, I'll have a look at those :)

Quite a few people seem to be interested in the Eonon units; you can get them on-line, but I'm not sure about physical, bricks and mortar, stores.

One thing that I find quite surprising is that, in spite of all the features that get loaded in to aftermarket units (SAT Nav and all sorts of android programs, for example), it seems difficult to get DAB radio without buying an external box (or even, not having it available at all).

We know all about Eonon.. we were recently harrassed by one of their sales representatives who kept offering us "deals" which weren't really deals at all. The products may be good.. but the people behind it, not too sure

@tomtom70 Following your suggestion, and a little research, I just bought a Zenec 3810 with the additional DAB module:smile:
