can't close hood cover

The hood cover on my streetka won't close meaning the boot won't open and could get a bit iffy if driving with the roof down, any ideas?

Sounds like you need a new hood cover latch - slamming the hood or boot is one of the main reasons the switch fails and then the alarm can go off randomly not allowing you to switch it off - or perhaps the electronic switch is staying open circuit.

 

Check the latch where the hood clicks into it and the actual hood retaining bar.
