iPod no longer playing via USB

Have been using my iPod to play music through the usb for months and suddenly it's stopped working. iPod itself plays music and I've tried restoring and updating it. Disk use is enabled also. It's as if it no longer recognises there is something connected. Any ideas?

    Have you tried changing the wire.

    Of maybe time for a new stereo.

    Plug in another usb device and test it.

    Dalb is spot on its always the simplest thing that goes wrong with IT gear - Check your wire.

    Not good to keep pulling yer wire!
