Ecoboost 100PS Mileage display - any advice?

Featured Replies

Ok, feel a bit of a div here but can anybody help?

Yesterday the warning light came on for low fuel and my mileage display changed from the amount of kilometres driven to '80km to 0'. Ok, that was fin, nice to know how long I had left in the fuel tank (even though the km were dropping every second and it was a bit nerve wrecking with a 20min drive to go). 😁

I cannot get rid of the current display, want to get it back to displaying amount of kilometres driven. I have checked the manual but it only seems to tell me how to change from kilometres to miles or how to reset to 0.

Can anyone help? No doubt it is something so !Removed! obvious I will hang my head in shame and limp outta here!

I you press the tip of your left stick in it should rotate through  mpg, miles, miles to empty, trip etc. If you want to reset any of these, simply hold it in on the chosen thing I.E Average MPG (not live mph), press the left stick in for a few seconds and it will Zero out.

To rotate, simply press it in once and it will cycle through. However everytime you get in your car, if your tank is emptyish, it will always revert back to "Km to 0" until you fill up

Cheers, will try this when home this evening. I searched everywhere both in the menu and the manual and could not find an answer so really appreciate it. The kms to 0 makes me too nervous lol.

Lol, I just realised that ford owners club have removed a word from my original post that started with 'bl' and the end sounded like uddy.

If that is what passes for bad language they wouldn't want to be a passenger in my car when I am a stuck behind a terrible driver!!

On mine there's also a button under the tacho which does the same job as pressing the left stick.
