Uprated springs but not lowered ?

Hey all had a small issue today my Mrs was driving her mk7 and heard a really load snap then a rattle so had a look and it was the driver side spring so thought no bigger quite a small job to fix but after a little read it seams the ford springs a prone to snap so I though maybe I can get some apex ,spax ,eibach etc to replace them but I dont want to lower so is there any out there at stock ride height.

Also while ive got the shocks of is  there anything else I should consider changing while im in there as im doing the brake discs and bads.

    Only really ford or motor factor for stock hight springs. Uprated springs will usually lower the car. If your not looking at lowered springs then just stick to the stock ford parts.
