Fiesta MK6 air vent

Where can I buy spray or paint for the vents mk6 fiesta

You'll need a plastic primer applied first, this is usually a clear spray - Then what ever colour you want on top.

Before you attempt to spray them, thoroughly clean the parts - washing up liquid & warm water, use a tooth brush to get any crap out of any recess's - Key the surface with 1200 grade paper - Then the plastic primer [allow to dry] - Then paint - Don't put on the paint too heavily as it might eventually crack over time from heat & cold expansion.

If you don't use a plastic primer the paint may lift & peel and will look a right mess in 6 months time!

Using Enamel is a much hardier paint so no primer wouldn't be required, if you'd used the plastic primer with the enamel they would have reacted together and crinkled really bad.

Looks very good Patrick smiley-score010.gif

Thanks I like it is well and such a small mod and changed the look completely

I've got the MK7 fiesta and altered the side vents on it! Just hated those awful silver surrounds! Sourced the thin chrome rings & chrome finger adjusters off the Ford S-Max and had the outer rings carbon fibre dipped, also had other interior parts dipped in carbon effect.
