2004 Fiesta 1.4

Featured Replies

Hi guys!!

First of all, thanks for the great site, lots of information here! Much appreciated.

I'm looking to buy an small car and I've come across with a couple of neat fiestas. Both are zetec 1.4, 2003/2004, and would like to know some realistic figure of fuel economy.. I'll be doing a fair bit of miles, and although I'm happy to go petrol, I don't want to go for a very thirsty one!

Also, considering both cars have less than 60k miles on the clock, what should I pay special attention to? Would you say they're reliable cars?

Thanks for your help!

The duratec engine is pretty bullet proof. It's easy to work on & takes a thrashing well.

In terms of fuel, they're absolutely rubbish if you're doing high mileage. I loved my mk6 but after a new job I soon had to sell up and get an ecoboost
