1.0 ecoboost developed rattle/noise?

Hey all, 

My 65 plate 140PS ZS Black has developed a rattling noise over the weekend when accelerating. There's no noise when idling or revving in neutral, it is just when accelerating between 2-4,000 rpm ish. All I've done since driving it Friday is clean it and fit an 'S' grill badge and I thought this was the culprit rattling against the grill but I've removed it and it isn't. It's 9 months old with 18k on the clock and it still drives perfect and has recently been serviced.

    mine has always had this rattle its just the engine noise unfortunately!

    Aye I drive 130 miles round trip to work Mon-Fri. 

    Also, it's always had like the ringing rattle and the salesman explained it to me when I bought it (this is what I assumed the 'ecorattle' reference was to) but this rattle seems to be different and just developed between Friday and today.

    4.5k in 18 months :laugh: An enjoyable 4.5 though.

    Thing is, I only use it when I wanna go somewhere :wink:
