Ella folks ! I got rid of my black edition a couple months back, and have been drivin round in my new ST, which I LOVE !

I was going to get a new S3 or Golf R end of the year, but I decided to hold out a a bit, as I've got a feeling I'm gonna be enjoying the ST still by then, especially once I've put a few mods on it, and maybe a bit more lol.

 

 

Anyhow, I've put a J1 induction kit on it, and today I ordered the  Peron P2XX Stage 1+ (98 RON) remap after one of the lads at work swayed me away from mountune ( as I already have a decent induction kit ), Revo and Pumaspeed. I couldn't find much info online about their remaps, so I'm was wondering if anyone who has used Peron stage 1 could compare notes with the other tuners ?

 

i do plan on doing a few more things to the car before going the whole  stage 2, like engine and gearbox mount, short shifter, suspension. Not adding anything cosmetic, as I like the stock look, and the look on people's faces when they wanna give it full beans at the lights, and then realise it's not stock lol.

 

Any opinions on Peron ? I've a feeling they're probably going to be minor differences, but hoping it wasn't money better spent elsewhere.

After the vigorous feedback, I just went and bought it anyway.

 

all I can say is HAHAHAHA - BONKERS. Defo turned it up a few notches. WASNT expecting such a big improvement. Is not being poked with a stick anymore, it's bein poked with a big pointy stick that's on fire...in the eye.

Big drop that lol. From either a S3 or Golf R to choose an ST. Though driven all 3 I'd stick to a ST. The S3 is too big and major fuel drinker and the golf R just seemed to lag too much for what its got. The ST I thought handled better also. 

So with these mods you're choosing I'm sure it'll be a vast improvement.
