Timing belt

Just spotted that the timing belt on my 2013 Fiesta Ecoboost 100 runs in an oil bath.   Does that mean that it never needs changing?



Probably not for the whole of its normal life.

A very high mileage user might decide to have it done, there is a Thread on it in this Forum, but the job looks expensive!

I did a search to see if there was a topic but I couldn't find it.

I'd say it should last longer than a normal one. Bit theres many factors that could effect it's life. If you have a service book it should state the mileage they are recommended at
