Mondeo mk4 titanium x driver door console fix

Having just brought a Mondeo tit x with some of the normal problems then I thought I would share the fixes with you as I go along...

1. Driver door electric window,folding mirror, rear window, central locking won't work.

I thought it was the multi console at fault and had it's day, but I removed the plug/wiring from the driver side front of the door that goes into the wing and there was a thick black wire (positive power) broken at the terminal inside the connector, not obvious and you need to look for it!!!! 

I mended it using a heated up and hot very thick needle pushed into the terminal and then pushed the other end of the needle into the centre of the wire that had broken off, then black taped the repair, making a good circuit and insulated well, everything on the console now works great.

I came to the conclusion that the door loom on the driver side is very short/tight and when you open/close it hundreds of times then it basically just breaks the connections at the end of the wires on the connector!

Simple fix that has people spending loads of money!
