I find the build quality rather poor for a £40k motor ? Working for a car manufacturer in the quality department I could rip it apart for quality , I think next car will be a Land Rover product and before you start regarding don't compare Land Rover to Ford , drive quality / capability Land Rover are untouchable BUT build quality for a car that's the same price then no reason for poor ford quality.

This is the second one, first one rejected due to many faults.

I work there though in the quality department and with my discount found out I can get disco sport same price. Far more complaints about the edge looking at warranty data

That's a worry!  Disco Sp's are as common as muck around here but I have yet to see a real live Edge on the roads so if less vehicles equals more complaints then that's not so good.

However, a lot of complaining on the Disco SP forum was about customer service as well as ongoing build quality issues.  My experience so far of Ford customer service has been OK.  I'll now have to wait to assess build quality myself.

Yes I agree - maybe I notice things more ? Your right though not many edges on the road !
