Mondeo mk4 Park assist module

Featured Replies

Hi guys

I've been having a problem with my Ford fitted parking sensors. I have taken it to a local auto electrical place, who have advised me it's the park assist module (led short to positive). My question is from all the modules on eBay, I have only fond one with the exact same markings as mine. Do I have to replace it with this or will others work? Also would I have to have it coded or is it simply plug in and it's working?

Thanks guys. I'll attach a pic of my module for ref the car is a 2010 mondeo pre face-lift

should be plug and play, im guessing it needs to be the the same number, except for the last digit can be higher, ie ab,ac,ad etc

Was hoping it would be plug and play. The version I need seems to be like gold dust .would imagine one from ford would be rather expensive aswell

i would ask a ford dealer the price and the enginnering number. they will know the lastest version for your car and could be an entirely different number to look for.

is it rear parking sensors only?

No it's front and back

are they sure its the module and not the switch, led short to positive can be switch also.

Ive replaced the switch myself .so I don't think it's that.suppose it could be the wires between the switch and module
