Making the passenger window go up like the driverside ?

Featured Replies

I think all MK7's to date only has the 'one touch' electric window switch which is on the driver-side! Has anyone tried to make the passenger-side window a 'one touch' system ?

Is it just the driver-side switch which does this or is it something else ? I'm sick of having to hold the switch down for the passenger window.

Specifically Mk7? As my Mk7.5 has one touch on both driver and passenger windows.

Would love a one-touch system for the passenger side window :D

Sounds like its early Fiesta's that only have the one touch system fitted then... mines a 10 plate.

Yours is a 13 plate correct? Mine is a 63 so that might be when it came in.

My Mk7.5 doesn't. What model/spec is yours, as it might be something I'm able to enable through Forscan? Is it only from the driver side or passenger side also? Are the switches marked the same as the driver's switch?  Thanks

In alot of cars, the switches have two positions, one makes it go down till you release, and the other does one touch.

I've seen people get a donor switch unit and cobble the two together to make one touch.

I've not seen a Fezza one, so can't comment on them specifically.

Zetec 1.6 power shift, switches on both passenger and drivers side and they are identical.
