Fiesta Mk7 blutooth handsfree problem

Featured Replies

Hi all, I have a bit of an issue with the handsfree on my girlfriend's mk7 fiesta and hopefully can find a solution on here.

Earlier in the year I wired up an amp and 6x9's to the factory head unit using this how to here:

Done my install exactly as done in the guide, and the 6x9's worked fine, great!. However, since doing this, the handsfree has stopped working properly. For some reason, everytime we use the handsfree the head unit decides to change all of the sound settings to this below and only sends the sound out through the rear passenger door speaker, and it will not allow me to change these settings.

Any ideas why it's doing this and how to resolve it? I've tried disconnecting the battery for 30 mins, didn't fix it.

The sound is perfectly fine when using the CD player/radio/IPod etc, its only when using the handsfree it decides to do this.

Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers!

Disconnect the new speakers and see if it works OK. If  not you may have disturbed something else.
