Fiesta mk6 Sony Head unit AUX issue

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I have recent bought a 2008 MK 6 Fiesta Zetec with the standard sony CD head unit and I am very pleased with it however I have a slight problem that I can't seem to skip songs using the head unit or stalk when connected to my phone via AUX. Is this just a not available or is something faulty?

Track skipping works fine when playing a CD but not  AUX.

If its just not a function for a cheap fix would a AUX cable with controls work?

I am thinking of getting a sub, maybe a under seat one to save on boot space so will eventually change the head unit.

Thanks

Rcatt

The AUX is play only, no controls for any devices I'm afraid.

An inline controller would work.

This sort of thing-

Ahh thought that would be the case.

Thank you for the help I will most likely go for the bluetooth option.

I'm sure I will be pestering you all again once I decide what other audio upgrade I want.

Thanks

That's what we're here for 😎
