MK7 Zetec S boot and radio issues

Four months ago I past my driving test and bought a MK7 Zetec S. It has been a great car but a few weeks ago all power to the radio went and it turned its self back on a minute or so later, but hasn't done it again until today when driving home from work. Another issue I'm having is with the boot. between the times of my radio issues the door open light often comes on and the screen on the dash telling me the boot is open. Now the first thing one would think is the idiot hasn't shut his boot properly, but I'm afraid to say I have. The lights aren't on all the time occasionally they go off and might not come on again for a day or two, but two weeks ago on my way to work the lights on the dash starting flashing like strobe lighting for 2 seconds and stopped and this happened again this week. Since Wednesday I have had no problems with the boot.

Does anyone have any ideas as to the cause of my problems?
