Update radio & Geabox fluid change

Featured Replies

Hi

Is there a way to update the software for my radio on my 2009 titanium mk7, I only have a Aux input,no USB port.

Also when should the gearbox oil be changed and is it easy to do yourself.

Many thanks for any replies.

Paul

Bump

Ford don't expect you to change the gearbox oil.   Can't help with the radio.

Why are you wanting to update the radio?

If you're wanting to enable Bluetooth music that a very different procedure, you'll need to swap the Bluetooth module and have some features activated in IDS.

Thanks for the replies guys, nice to know about the gearbox oil.

I do have a problem with the Bluetooth connection for playing music (error code, which says can't connect) but if it means taking the dash apart I think I'll leave it be.

Cheers

Paul
