Blend Door Acuator

Featured Replies

Hi, Hope this hasn't been posted already but the search is showing up nothing. A Google has enlightened me that the blend door actuator is f****d in my girlfriends 2009 fiesta. The clicking noise at start-up, heater not blowing hot air and the fact it seems to be a very common problem, all point to this. There are many online posts and videos regarding fixing this and they range from been a complete nightmare to a 20 min job. I think this maybe because there are 2 in the car and one is simple, the other not. All the posts/videos are US and hence LHD models so I don't know if the actuator I need replacing is the difficult one or not. The clicking noise appears to be coming from just to the right of the radio. Has anyone ever taken on to change this themselves and if so could you care to share your experience..
