I take it the puddle lamp is a sealed unit ie. you cant just replace the bulb with an error free sidelight bulb??

On the new models it is a sealed unit previous models it's just a bulb swop

thats a pity i was gonna nick the led bulbs from the golf that goes back in december!!!!

Is there a UK supplier for these?

How about interior bulbs, upgraded the interior on my mk4, now it's like a step backwards in my mk5!

Hi guys,

Regarding this puddle lights should this lights go off even if door are open, after some period of time? Main doesn't go off, so for example if you want to do some maintenance in your car with door open for few hours this lights will be permanently on and will unnecessarily start to drain the battery. I know you can disable this lights using forscan but this is not the case, in my opinion they should go off after some period of time even if doors are open. Any ideas guys?
