Kerbed wheels

Featured Replies

So last night I accidentally kerbed two wheels on my St. They're the rado grey colour which as far as im aware ford didn't release a paint code for. When I say kerbed I mean a mark the size of a pea on one and about 4 small marks on the other so just thinking getting some paint to touch up would do but where can I get some from to match?

i did my front right wheel the week i had it, it was 4 pea sized marks like yours but my wheels are black so all it did was buy a cheap can of black spray and spray the marked spot cant tell at all unless you come right into the wheel, in my opinion its better than paying up £60+ to get repaired,

How do you manage such a small amount of kerbing?  The few times I've kerbed a wheel it's been a huge gouge lol!

I've been told nail varnish is good for small touch ups on alloys...obviously comes in plenty of colours as well.  Never tried it myself though!

I really don't know, I always drive up onto kerbs to make sure I don't mark the wheels but I must have come in at the wrong angle cause I heard my back wheel sort of scrape up onto the kerb then when I looked there's a few little chunks of paint missing.
