Bulb Advice

Featured Replies

Hi All

New to the forum so Hello,

I am looking to upgrade my bulbs on my 2013 Titanium Fiesta, it’s got Daytime running lights.

In the owners Manual its say I need a H15 and H7 bulb I have also read that the H15 bulb is used for the Daytime running lights and the Main beam (dual use) is that true?

So my question is-

What bulbs do I need – H15 and H7 or H1(main beam) and H7 and whats required for the daytime running lights ? if anything

I am looking at Osram night breakers or Philips White vison in terms of bulbs.

Thanks in advance.

I've been using Osram Nightbreakers for a few years now and highly recommended them. They definitely give a much brighter light than the standard bulbs.

The bulbs you need will be.

H7 Dipped Beam.

H1 Full / Main beam

These bulbs are for headlights like this.

Hi Willy

Many thanks for the reply.. Yeah my lights look like that - what about the day time running lights are they on a separate LED strip.

I was looking at the Philips white vision i heard the Osram blubs don't last long.

i was going to get:

H7 Dipped Beam.

H1 Full / Main beam

but in the owners manual it say it needs a H15 blub confused...

I think the H15 bulbs are  for the Daytime Running Lights in cars that are not fitted with LED DRLs.

I have just ordered a set of OSRAMS for my 2016 Titanium X, I think the brightness of the bulbs as standard are pretty good actually but I feel that the range is not that good (the same on our 2015 Zetec). Our Mk 6 '52' plate has better range on them.

Exactly ⬆

Our DRLs are LED strips. there not removable.

The Osrams last me about a year being used every day.
