kingsblue
I'm guessing petrol, the 1.4's seem to have an oil cooler, the last one I changed I used the claw type filter tool, the one with 3 legs and you use a 3/8 drive ratchet. isetta
if this is the disposable type oil filter canister and you are desperate, then one way to loosen them is to get a long sharp screwdriver and hammer it through the oil filter and out the other side. then you have some goodΒ leverage toΒ turn it. Β I have done this before. the screwdriver usually goes through quite easily.Β But don't blame me if you end up damaging something. be careful where the hammer and screwdriver go. Obviously oil will run out.
