Ford Fiesta 53 reg 1.6L, cambelt snapped so took the cylinder head off, checking all the tolerances in the cylinder head and i noticed the haynes manual I have my values differ slightly. In the haynes manual it is for the duratec 16v engine but mine is the zetec-se engine. My issue is my valve springs are all around 49mm +-0.5mm however the manual says 53.2. Has anyone else had this issue as i would like to know whether i need to get new valve springs or not?

    I have the 1.6 zetec engine but it says Duratec on the cover and there's nothing written on the engine. Apparently there's 2 or 3 different designs of the same engine :s
