NeilRS
Spice and lux was a popular spec for demo cars-,might be able to find a low mileage ex demo?
Jim610
I noticed it disappeared from the configurator at just before I ordered mine, which is a new colour not origonally available (Jeans Blue). That was back in late October.
simonb65
Electric Spice, Nautilus Blue and Kona Blue were all phased out in Oct/Nov last year. As NeilRS says, Electric Spice was popular on promotional examples and some demo cars, but they will all be the old Sync 2 (if you can live with that!). The Electric Spice was replaced by a slightly darker shade, Canyon Ridge, but I've not seen one in the flesh yet and both blues were replaced by Jeans Blue (a relic from a few years ago!). Again, not seen that yet. I managed to get a Nautilus Blue with Sync3, in a very narrow 1 month ordering window, which in my opinion is the best of both worlds. The launch and initial marketing were pretty shambolic if you ask me. There were no colour swatches in showrooms until December, by which time the car had been launched 7 months and spec changed. I had to see the colours available by driving round Manchester, Cheshire and Staffordshire to get a glimpse of every colour that was available at the time!!! Electric Spice was a hot and well suited colour for the Sport, but it's a bit of a personal taste and I'm not sure how you would get on in terms of resale attraction. Edit : Corrected my own stupidity in referencing the wrong b****y colour. Doh! Thanks @xn85
xn85
Hi, The darker replacement for Electric Spice is called Canyon Ridge. It's more of an orangey colour and sits somewhere between Electric Spice and Bronze Fire. I've just taken delivery of a Sport in Bronze Fire and love the way it changes colour according to the light - ranging from a deep orange, to burgundy, to brown. I don't think it was a popular colour, so don't really expect to see another on the roads. Hey, it's good to be different!
NeilRS
That looks is really smart- I probably would have gone for that. I used to have a Honda prelude in a colour similar to spice and it was a pig to sell on. Agree it's a lovely colour but you would have a restricted market come resale time. xn85
Chris_wynne, have you tried the dealer groups like Evans Halshaw, Lookers, etc to see whether they have the spec you want in Electric Spice in group stock?

tallguy
Hi mate had a little look and seen a few demos etc. after the full kitted out sport spec with lux pack. just a shame its discontinued this year I have a Canyon Ridge 210 sport. I was hoping for a slightly more burnt orange colour but have very quickly grown to like it.5 weeks into ownership and 1500 down, no complaints.Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
