im looking at upgrading my air filter to a cone kn filter but am unsure of if it will fit in my current airbox or not. I dont think it will as i have this Image result for ford focus mk2 airbox

 

Can anyone link me to the correct air box i will need? or will it not need one as i cant find anything on the kn website about an air box.

    Yeah I have a panel filter. Was hoping to swap it for a cone filter. Would it be possible?

    I wouldn't advise it but it is possible. You would have to remove the box and have a heat shielded filter that bolts on and create something that will bring in cool air otherwise it will suffer heatsoak. A k&n 57i is a box type filter and you also get other variations of shielded filters. Otherwise upgrade your panel filter for a performance one.
