Fiesta Mk6 Oil Leak

Featured Replies

Hi, have a Fiesta 56 plate 1.4 petrol that has an oil leak. Seems to be coming from a sensor on the passenger side, low down at the front of the engine. When crawled underneath the car you can see it from underneath the front bumper. The body of the electrical connector and part of the sensor come away from the rest of the sensor. When pushed back in the leak seems to reduce/stop, but feels quite loose. Would anyone have an idea of what this sensor is called/easy to change. No warning lights yet, but obviously a concern. TIA

The Haynes book of lies should tell you.  I take it no warning lights, all the instruments are working correctly?

Can you post a picture? is the leak from the engine or gearbox? I've seen a few leaking reverse light switches.

Could it be the switch on the steering pump? Sons leaked from here and a new switch fixed it.
