Fiesta mk6 turbo???

Featured Replies

I was looking around and was wondering if I can put a turbo on my 1.6 fiesta zetec s?

im looking for a moderately priced 'bolt on' kit. Not really looking to do fabrication work.

i was jus wondering if the engine is able to cope with a turbo? And if not what other options are there for increasing power?

Just go and buy a turbo car. It would be much cheaper and easier. For it to be cost effective in any way to turbo your car, you would have to fabricate everything yourself, and use a cheap turbo. Not worth it. Plus you have all the unreliability with not much support, remaps to pay for etc. You're talking more than your car is worth to turbo it. Even with these kits you have to do a little fabrication usually (such as relocating or removing air con components).

It can be done.  Its not a cheap mod - reckon on 2k upwards for a well developed kit, plus another grand if you decide to pay them to fit it after all - but is still a fraction of the price of a new ST.
