Ford Fiesta Mrk7 Idle/Stall Issue.

Featured Replies

Hello has anyone had a Mrk 7 Idle / Stall Issue?

My 2010 Manual Zetec Mrk 7 Fiesta has lately been playing up. The car seems to have a issue holding a stable idle, and sometimes has no power and stalls.
I've changed the spark plugs thinking that was the issue & cleaned the throttle body. There is no issues with the air intake has a new filted no splits cracks or leaks in the manifold or piping. My mechanic told me it could be a fuel issue and there could be some water in the fuel tank. He advised me to put Metho in the fuel tank once i did that it ran like new. Once I started getting low of fuel and went to the garage and fueled up and the same issues occurred, so i put in another litre of Metho and it came good again. I'm worried its not a fuel issue, and dont want to be running my car with metho all the time

Anyone know what the issue could be ?
