Zetec s ambient lighting missing

Hi guys, looking for some advice.

Recently brought a fiesta zetec s red edition and noticed that there was no ambient lighting coming from above the glove box area and in the doors.

Ambient lighting is switched on in settings and so they should come on when the dipped beams are on.

Does anyone have any experience of these being missing or are zetec s' even supposed to have them.

I have attached some photos of the areas which should have lighting.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    The zetec s dosent have these but you can add them on if you wanted
