For goodness' sake not dash cam fuses again...

Featured Replies

Sorry...

Though this isn't about which fuse to use, but it sort of is.

Just fitted an Anker Roav C1 Pro dash cam to the car as it's long overdue for me to have one (the heated seats will have to wait til next month lol) and a hardwire kit.

Now I know for hardwiring, folk usually use F86 in the passenger footwell for a switched live which is fine but the kit I bought is supposed to have battery monitoring etc so I put it in permanent live F73 (at least I think it was, bottom of second to the right column of fuses).

The cam does have a parking mode but no motion sensor so I would like it running as much as possible, but am wondering now about ford calcium batteries and the relative deep cycling mine is likely to endure.

Any wise and wonderful words on this one?
